Feeding
Herd setting feeder barn with six individual stalls per herd. Manger style feeders for clean feed, no feeding on the ground allowing horses to eat in the head down position. Quality grass and alfalfa raised on site and fed 2-3 times daily, near free style eating.
We are happy to feed owner supplied supplements. Heated well water, salt and mineral blocks provided.
Pastures
Pastures available seasonally. Carefully maintained pastures, ensuring quality grass for forage. Come spring the horses are let out on the pastures slowly starting on about 1/2 hour per day and progressively allowing the feeding time to expand up to several hours daily. Large rotational pastures for the herds and smaller pasture for you and your horse to use. Horses are never left on pastures overnight.
